Widegape Hooks are designed with a slightly inturned eye, with a widegape to eye ratio, and a superior hand sharpened hook point in PTFE.

The Widegape Hook pattern goes back to the 1990's and has accounted for many a monster Carp, it is a go to hook when fishing for wary, rig shy fish.  In a way its scaling down the end tackle without losing any hooking properties, as the gape is wider than a standard pattern and the shank shorter giving a wide hooking base.  A versatile hook that can be used in any situation, maximising this hook's potential.
