Three big carp across the week with two new UK PBs. What a session.
James has had an incredible time at Westmoor Farm, landing three quality carp over the trip with a mix of smart watercraft and solid rig work.
Day One:
The session started strong with a 35lb 8oz common.
Fluro D rig with a yellow EFP x RGBaits wafter, topped with maggots doing the business.
Day Two:
Morning number two delivered a new UK PB.
“Stich” at 43lb
Same setup. Fluro D rig with an EFP x RG yellow wafter and 15 maggots.
Day Four:
After spotting fish moving on the wind, James made the call to barrow over to the opposite bank for the night. First light rewarded him with his second UK PB of the week.
“Jack” at 45lb on the nose.
Three big carp. Two PBs. One unforgettable week.
